ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH ACTIVITY

PhD in Public Health from the University of Alicante, Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Alicante, Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology and Professional Specialist Certificate in Food Technology from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. At present, she is a Lecturer in Nutrition at University of Alicante.
Her main research activity has focused on the analysis of the impact of food policies and community nutrition initiatives in the food and epidemiological-nutritional transition of the Spanish population.
She has developed her teaching activity in the field of food and nutritional education in the  Bachelor degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and in the Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of Alicante.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES DURING THE LAST DECADE IN THE FOLLOWING LINES:

a) History of community nutrition.
b) Food and nutritional education.
c) Epidemiological-nutritional transition.
d) Food policies in Spain.
