PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Alicante (2017), Master’s degree in Public Health from Miguel Hernández University (2011), and Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Alicante (2008). My academic career began with a collaboration within an interdisciplinary team in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the University of Alicante, working on the project “Epidemiology of Obesity and Public Policies for Its Prevention.”

Simultaneously, I began contributing to teaching in the undergraduate Human Nutrition and Dietetics program, specifically in the courses Public Health and Nutritional Epidemiology, as well as in the Master’s program in Clinical and Community Nutrition, teaching the course “Food Policies and Advances in Nutritional Epidemiology.”

I am currently a full-time faculty member in the Department of Nursing at the University of Alicante. I teach in the Nursing and Human Nutrition and Dietetics undergraduate programs, as well as in the Master’s program in Nutrition and Food Science.

My primary research interests focus on clinical and sports nutrition, as well as diet quality.

In addition to my teaching and research activities, I served as a Dietitian-Nutritionist at the Food and Nutrition Office of the University of Alicante (Alinua) from January 1, 2013, to October 2018.

This career trajectory has resulted in multiple scientific publications, the development of research projects, and the enhancement of teaching quality.
