BA in Translation and Interpreting (Spanish, English, French and German) from the Comillas Pontifical University and PhD in Translation, Professional and Audiovisual Translation Studies from the University of Alicante and the University of Valladolid. She belongs to the INCOGNITO research group and investigates feminist translation and other aspects of gender and language.

She is currently a junior lecturer at the Department of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Alicante, where she teaches undergraduate and master’s degree modules, as well as being a tutor of master's degree projects and a member at panels for undergraduate and graduate students' projects, tutor of master’s degree internships and study abroad coordinator. She is accredited by the ANECA to the positions of professor contract doctor and private university professor since February 2022.

She is registered as an independent expert in gender studies, non-sexist language and translation at the European Commission, the European Institute for Gender Equality and the databases of experts AMIT, Brussels Binder, Expertes Genre and Agenda d'Expertes. She is also a member of AIETI, CEDRO and ESTIDIA.

She has a long career of twenty years as an independent translator and sworn interpreter, with more than twenty books translated and six contracts as a specialised (legal and financial) external translator for the European Union for nine years. She previously coordinated for ten years the editorial staff of a national photography magazine.
