Carlos A. Jara received the title of Industrial Engineer in 2005 from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, with the decoration of the 5 Star University Award, and the Doctorate in 2010 from the University of Alicante with the qualification of Outstanding Cum Laude for unanimity. The applicant's doctoral thesis received the CESEI Award (best Spanish Doctoral Thesis on research in technological applications in the field of education in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology, Telecommunications Engineering and Computer Engineering) in the call for 2011.
In the research field, Carlos A. Jara's research areas have focused on robotics simulation, virtual and remote laboratories, robotic manipulation, human-robot interaction, assistive and rehabilitation robotics. He currently has 2 six-year research periods granted by the ANEP. Regarding publications in journals, it is worth mentioning its 30 publications in international journals, among which 27 publications have an impact within the JCR and 3 of them in journals indexed in prestigious databases (DOAJ, INSPEC, DBLP, etc.) .
Regarding international and national conferences, Carlos A. Jara has more than 50 publications, most of them in conferences sponsored by the IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control) and the IEEE.
