Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alicante. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Alicante and has completed several master's degrees related to Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, and Educational Psychology.
She has attended and participated in various national and international conferences focused on educational psychology, neuropsychology, and clinical psychology.
She has extensive experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), children with learning difficulties, various disabilities, and behavioral disorders. She has worked in both public and private institutions, providing guidance, counseling, and intervention for children and adolescents facing a range of developmental challenges.
Her professional activities with children and young people have included interventions in cases of absenteeism, substance abuse, psychological assessments and reports, individualized and family support, coordination and integration of foreign families and students, as well as psychological counseling at the preschool, primary, and secondary levels. She has also engaged in behavioral redirection strategies, school mediation, curriculum adaptations, assessments such as ACI and ACIS, personality testing, parent-teacher meetings, and task organization for students with academic delays, among others.
She has conducted studies on the influence of new technologies on the learning processes of individuals with ASD. She has 16 years of professional experience working in a specialized center for individuals with autism.
Currently, she is a member of the Research Group on Educational Innovation and European Languages in the 21st Century (GRIELE-XXI) as well as the Research Group on Advances in Transcultural Education for Adaptive Transformation (REACT).
