An accredited tenured professor, teaching English since 1992, with experience across all CEFR levels and diverse learning environments. He has participated in workshops and seminars at the University of Oxford (Exeter College, 2016 and 2018), working with experts such as Adrian Underhill (pronunciation), Hanna Kryszewska (CLIL), John Hird (grammar), Edmund Dudley (teenage learning), and Shaun Wilden (EdTech).
Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Innovation and Didactic Training (DIFD) at the Faculty of Education, teaching courses in the Bachelor's Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. He has collaborated with the Department of English Philology at UA, lecturing in the Bachelor's Degrees in Social Work, Tourism, and English Studies, as well as with the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) at UA, delivering training for teachers and administrative staff.
He has participated in research conferences and academic events at national universities (UA, UV, UPV, UGR) and international institutions (Würzburg Universität, Germany, Vellore Institute of Applied Sciences, India and ELTE Eötvös Loránd University Budapest, Hungary). He has been a guest lecturer at Middlesex University (London), HVL (Bergen and Sogndal), NTNU (Trondheim), Vytauto Didžiojo Universitetas (Kaunas), St. Kliment Ohridski University (Sofia), and Ateneo de Manila (Philippines). His stays in the USA, Germany, England, Norway, and Lithuania have strengthened his interest in intercultural competence, reflected in various academic publications and conference presentations. He speaks English, German, French, Spanish and Catalan.
His research focuses on CLIL, the integration of educational technology (EduTech) in language teaching, multilingual and multicultural learning contexts, with a particular emphasis on English pronunciation and literacy instruction (Phonetics, Pronunciation, Phonics). He is a reviewer for national and international academic journals, including IGI Global, Revista DIM, TEISEL (UB), Didáctica. Lengua y Literatura (UCM), and the prestigious Q1 Journal New Approaches in Educational Research.
He is a member of the ACQUA research group at UA and participates in international projects such as Transform For Europe (T4EU) and SPARK COIL. Additionally, he contributes to R&D projects, including LEyLA (https://proyectoleyla.eu/), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation under the 2021 Knowledge Generation Projects call.
