María Isabel Corbí Sáez is a university senior lecturer in the Department of Integrated Philology at the University of Alicante (French Philology section), having started her professional career at the University of Alicante in 1997. She specializes in French and Francophone literary studies. She has about sixty publications (many of them of international scope) and has presented communications and papers in some seventy international conferences both in the Spanish state and abroad. She is a member of the Memòria, Identitat i Ficcions research group (University of Alicante) and member of associate reseachers of the CELIS (CELIS; Université d'Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France) and she is coordinator of the research group Interculturality: challenges of the languages and the Literatures in a conected world (ICLLIT, University of Alicante). Her research work covers several areas that should be noted: French literature (from the seventeenth century onwards, and in particular the precursor manifestations of modernity), comparative literature (relationships between French and Francophone literature with other literatures, French and Francophone literatures and other arts, literature and thought, literature and poetics of memory and exile, among other areas), literature from a gender perspective (especially women writers from the 18th century onwards), Research on university teaching (EHEA innovative teaching methodologies). She has directed about thirty final degrees' projects and a Doctoral dissertation. She has been invited as a speaker at various European and North American universities, as well as within the framework of ERASMUS international mobility programs.
