PhD in Food Science from the University of Valencia (2011), degree in Nutrition and Dietetics a (University of Valencia, 2009). I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at the same university.

I started my career in academia with a postdoc position in the field of food science and cancer (Dept. of Phisiology, Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB, Spain,) and currently I am Lecturer of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Alicante (Faculty of Health Science).

In addition to my teaching and research activities, I am currently the vicedean of the degree of Human Nutrition and dietetics at the University of Alicante. 

My main research interests lie in the area of clinical nutrition, sports nutrition and child nutrition.
