PhD in Educational Research from the University of Alicante.

Teacher (Department head) of Music at the IES Leonardo da Vinci in Alicante, a secondary school where he has worked since 1997 and where he has been Vice-Director and Head of Studies at different times.  He has participated in the European Erasmus + programme, Looking For A Universal Language By Means Of Performing Arts, together with secondary schools in Italy, Germany, Iceland and Luxembourg, the latter as coordinator. He is currently Associate Professor at the University of Alicante in the Department of Innovation and Didactic Training of the Faculty of Education.

Author of several pedagogical articles for specialised journals as well as co-author of other publications related to ICTs and music and the music-cinema relationship.

Awarded by the Generalitat Valenciana in projects related to educational innovation.

Teacher and speaker on numerous courses within teacher training programmes. Also speaker at various national and international congresses on music for audiovisuals and education, indistinctly.

More recent publications on the work of composer José Nieto and co-editor of the collection Sonidos en la retina.

Co-organiser of the section "Music for the image", within the framework of the Alicante Film Festival, in which multiple activities are developed, among which the concert cycle Street film music, through an agreement signed with the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Óscar Esplá", of Alicante, courses and the Encuentro Lo sonoro en el audiovisual (The sound in the audiovisual) stand out. This meeting is attended annually by specialists from the academic and professional world from all over Spain.

Author and co-author of the original music for several audiovisual productions (short films, theatre, documentary series...) some of them co-produced by Taller de imgen of the University of Alicante, TVE and Canal Sur TVA.

In the field of musical performance and production, the active and regular participation in numerous concerts and auditions and in different recordings stands out. The most recent project in this field was Jazz Meets Opera.
