Assistant professor in the Philosophy Department of Contemporary Humanities at the University of Alicante since 2022. PhD in Philosophy (2016, Special Award) from the University of Valencia with a thesis on Dostoevsky. She graduated from the same university (2003, Extraordinary Prize; Second National Prize). I also hold a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (2015, UIMP-Instituto Cervantes).
I have been awarded an FPU research grant from the Ministry of Education and I have carried out research stays at the Università di Pisa, the Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza,” the Johannes-Gutenberg Universität Mainz, and the Instituto de Filosofía CCHS - CSIC in Madrid.
I have been an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Valencia (2022) and have taught philosophy in secondary and high school (2016-2022), obtaining a position as a civil servant in the 2019 competitive examinations. I have also worked as a translator from English, German, Italian, and French into Spanish.
I have been the principal investigator (PI) for the projects “Circuits of Affectivity and Philosophy by Female Authorship” (CIGE/2023/94) and “Before the Mirror of Reason: Reflections of Feminist Thought from Modernity to Today” (GRE22-09B). She is editor of the journal Quaderns de Filosofia (FECYT, Scopus, DORA) and a member of the University Institute for Gender Studies Research (IUIEG) at the University of Alicante. I am part of the research group “Philosophical Narratives: Feminisms, Aesthetics, and Politics (NARFIL)” (University of Alicante) and also belong to the Educational Innovation in Philosophy Group GEIMFUS-RIEF (University of Valencia). I am a member of the board of directors of the Academic Society of Philosophy (SAF) and the Valencian Philosophy Society (SFPV).
My main field of research is the relationship between philosophy and literature, and I am also interested in feminist thought and the teaching of philosophy. Due to my complementary training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, I also have publications in this area.
