I have the ISAK certification (International Society for the Advancement of Kineanthropometry) at level 2 of anthropometrist.

I began my professional journey working as a freelance Dietitian-nutritionist in various clinical centers, from 2003 to 2013. I focused mainly on patients seeking to improve their health and/or sports performance.

I started my career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Alicante in the Department of Nursing, from 2009 to 2017. I then moved to Chile as a researcher at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Atacama, from 2017 to 2020. In 2021 I returned to Spain and started as a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University Isabel I of Burgos until October 27, 2024. On October 28th I joined the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Alicante. I have been tutor of more than 30 final projects of Degree and Master, focused on the Degree of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as in the area of Physical Activity and Sport.

In Chile, I was coordinator of the research group “Non-communicable chronic diseases” at the University of Atacama, from October 2018 to 2019 and also in the area of physical activity of the National Table of Aging of the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities from December 2017 to June 2020. I was a member of the Research Committee of the University of Atacama, from September 2019 to June 2020.

I was coordinator of the 4th year of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the University Isabel I from the academic year 2021-22 to 2023-24. In addition, I was in charge of the coordination of the 2nd course from March in 2023-24, and subsequently assumed the role of general coordinator until October of the 2024-25 academic year, at which time I changed university.

I have been a member of the Spanish Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (ACAD00108) and of the specialization groups, specifically the Sports Nutrition group (GE-NUDAFD), since March 2023.

I was guest editor of the journal Children and I am part of the editorial team of the Spanish Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics, since April 2023.

I am a member of the Official College of Dietitians-Nutritionists (CODiNuCoVa) and I am accredited as a Researcher and Teacher by the General Council of Official Colleges of Dietitians-Nutritionists.
