His research and teaching career focuses on the study of the history and theory of photography. He has been one of the promoters and coordinator of the Title of Expert in Contemporary Photography at the University of Alicante, a title in which he taught the subject History of Photography and was a project tutor. He is a member of the Audiovisual Communication Research Group (ICOMAV) of the University of Alicante.
