He has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Valencia and a Master's degree in Photography from the same university. DEA in Communication and PhD from the University of Alicante. His initial training in photography took place at Spéos (Paris Photographic Institute) and was completed at the universities of Alicante and Valencia. Parallel to the realization of his personal projects as a documentary photographer and university and secondary school teaching, he has developed an intense activity as a photography theorist thanks to various research grants from the Juan Gil-Albert Institute in France, highlighting his publications: "Photography and humanism", "Dysphoric advertising and confusion of genres in the cultural industries. His research and teaching career focuses on the study of the history and theory of photography. He has been one of the promoters and coordinator of the Expert Degree in Contemporary Photography at the University of Alicante, a degree in which he taught the subject History of Photography and was a project tutor. He is a member of the Research Group in Audiovisual Communication (ICOMAV) of the University of Alicante.
