Manuel Ortuño received the bachelor and master degrees in organic chemistry in 1993 (University of Murcia, Spain) and the master degree in chemical engineering in 1999 (University of Alicante, Spain). He received the PhD degree in physics (summa cum laude) in 2005 from University of Alicante. He has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals as researcher at the Institute of applied physics to science and technology in the University of Alicante. His main areas of interest are photopolymers, light sensitive materials, holographic recording materials, liquid crystals, composites, biopolymers, dyes and green materials.
