Javier Ortiz Zamora holds a PhD and is a Full Professor at the University of Alicante, in the Department of Physics, Systems Engineering, and Signal Theory, part of the Higher Polytechnic School of Alicante. He began his career as a university teaching assistant, progressing to teaching assistant and then to full professor. He finally achieved the position of Full Professor in 2003.
