Adriana Morejón is an Associate Professor in the Department of Software and Computing Systems (DLSI) and a researcher at the University of Alicante, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Data Science.
Her researcher focuses on data management and discovery, data spaces and the automatic generation and enrichment of metadata. In particular, she works on the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques and language models to improve the description, representation and retrieval of tabular data, as well as on the study and extension of metadata standards such as DCAT and DCAT-AP.
She has participated in several research projects related to data spaces, interoperability, data cataloguing and the application of Artificial Intelligence tecniques to data management and has published her work in international scientific conferentes and journals.
