She started her education at the Teachers' Training College in Alicante, specialising in English Linguistics. she then graduated in English Studies also at the Unviersity of Alicante.

After getting a position as a Secondary School State Teacher, she moved to Barcelona where she worked at various schools. There she took the Doctoral Courses and eventually defended the Thesis at the University of Barcelona, getting a Cum Laude grade. After that, she passed her exam to become a Senior Secondary Education Teacher, which she is still at present, already in Alicante.

She has presented numerous papers at teachers' meetings and conventions, published articles in professional Journals and also organised and given courses always addressed to teachers' training. She's been a Practicum tutor at the former CAP program and at the current Teachers Training Master Program for many years. She's been Associate Teacher or collaborator at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat Ramon Llull, Universitat Pompeu Fabra and at the Universitat de Barcelona.

Her areas of research go around english teaching, motivation through the use of ICT and AICLE. At present her areas of research move around European projects design (Erasmus+, eTwinning), innovation and educational research programs and the development of Communicative Oral Competence in English, providing students with real communication opportunities. The implementation of Service Learning Methodology as a scaffold for many activities' design is arising her interest at present.

She's a member of the SEPIE Experts Pannel.
