Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Services, where he previously served as an Associate Professor and Assistant.

He holds a diploma in Social Work, a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology, a Master's in Research on New Trends in Anthropology, and a PhD in Social Work. He is accredited as an Intercultural Mediator by the Generalitat Valenciana.

In his teaching activities, he has taught courses in the Social Work degree program, including Social Work with Communities, Models and Methods of Social Work II, and External Internships (I, II, III, and IV), as well as in the Master's in Development Cooperation at the University of Alicante. He has also taught in the Master's in Practical Social Anthropology at Miguel Hernández University of Elche.

His research activity has primarily focused on the field of Social Work and Social Services, particularly Community Social Work. He is a member of the Research Group on Social Work and Social Services (GITSS) at the University of Alicante, the Social Services Laboratory of Alicante (Generalitat Valenciana-University of Alicante), and the Institute for Research on Migration, Ethnicity and Social Development (IMEDES) at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is also a board member of the Observatory of the Valencian Public System of Social Services.

Before his full-time dedication to academia, his professional activity developed in the field of social and community intervention, holding various positions of responsibility for ten years in both the public and private sectors. He has been a professional tutor for students interning in Social Work and Anthropology.

In terms of university management, he has been the Coordinator of External Internships for Social Work at the Faculty of Economics and Business since 2021.
