Isabel Espinosa Zaragoza is a Senior Collaborator in the CLEARTEXT project (CENID) <<TED2021-130707B-I00>>, funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union Next GenerationEU/ PRTR.
She holds a B.A. in English Philology (2009-2014, extraordinary bachelor's degree award), and holds both the Master's Degree in Academic Staff of Secondary Education and High School, Vocational Training and Language teaching (2014-2015) and the Master's Degree in English and Spanish for Specific Purposes (2015-2016, extraordinary master's degree award). She holds a PhD in Linguistic Studies (2017-2022, cum laude) from the University of Alicante. She obtained a predoctoral contract from Programa propio del Vicerrectorado de Investigación y Transferencia de Conocimiento para el Fomento de I+D+i (2018-2022) to carry out her research at the University of Alicante (Spain).
Her main lines of research include Lexicology and English for Specific Purposes, with particular attention to the language of colour. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences (PICS 2022, AIC 2021, ESSE 2021, among others) and has published articles in prestigious journals (Feminismo/s., Color Culture and Science Journal (CCSJ)) and book chapters in publishers such as Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
