Beatriz Delgado Domenech, is a Doctor of Psychology with a European Doctoral Mention and currently works as a Senior Lecturer Professor at the University of Alicante.
In her academic career, she emphasizes her quality training supported by several prizes of academic excellence and postgraduate training. In addition, she has received three predoctoral scholarships granted by public and private organizations.
In her teaching work, she emphasizes the quantity and variety of subjects teached in different academic levels, as well as her abundant complementary training in this area. In her research curriculum, she emphasizes his collaboration in research projects financed by public entities. Her main line of research is the study of social anxiety, school anxiety, cognitive-motivational variables, sociometric status and its relation to academic performance in childhood and adolescence. Currently, she also develops research projects on cyber-bullying in pre-adolescence and the academic adjustment of first-year university students.
As a result of her participation in research projects, she has published articles in specialized journals in Psychology and related disciplines, most of them included in journals with an international impact index (Journal Citation Reports), as well as several book chapters and teaching texts. She has participated in numerous national and international congresses, and she has complemented her research training through a stay abroad.
