Ana B. Casado-Díaz holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration (European Doctorate - Doctoral Program Award) and is Full Professor in the Marketing Department at the University of Alicante.
From May 2015 to September 2022, she was Associate Head of Department. From 2014 to 2017 she was Coordinator of the Master in Marketing of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Alicante. She has participated in numerous research projects supported by public agencies and in different R&D contracts of special relevance with companies and public administrations. Her lines of research focus on services marketing, consumer behavior, tourism management and more tangentially on brands and international retirement migration. Current research interests: Cruise tourism, eWOM behavior -applied to Tourism Industry-, Hospitality Industry Management, Consumers' pro-environmental behavior (PEB), Sharing economy, Ethical consumption.
She has published numerous articles in national and international journals such as Tourism Management, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Services Industry Management, Service Industries Journal, Journal of Services Marketing or Tourism Geographies, and has collaborated in the development of numerous textbooks in the area of marketing and consumer behavior. Finally, she has presented communications in national and international congresses (Marketing Science Conference; European Marketing Academy Conference, EMAC; Encuentro de Profesores Universitarios de Marketing; among others).
