Science Computing Engineer (1997) and PhD in Science Computing Engineering (2006) from the University of Alicante. Since 1998 he has been lecturer in the Department of Physics, Systems Engineering and Signal Theory at the University of Alicante, coordinating subjects such as "Computer Networks" and "Data Transport Systems".

In addition, he has participated in the teaching of specialization courses in the field of Communications Technologies (Cisco Networking Academy) and training in the use of ICTs at the Permanent University of the University of Alicante. At the level of disseminating scientific knowledge to society, he has collaborated with the media in the field of cybersecurity and Wi-Fi communications systems, highlighting his participation in the Cybercamp event organized by INCIBE (National Institute of Cybersecurity) .

His main line of research is Wi-Fi communications systems and cybersecurity in mobile devices, developing new communications systems for places without mobile telephony infrastructure. This has allowed several technology transfer contracts to companies in the ICT sector.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he joined the initiative of the Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society of the Generalitat Valenciana to offer solutions for managing the health situation. Funding was obtained for the project "People crowd detection system based on an App for Android smartphones" with the aim of detecting risk situations for the spread of COVID-19.
