BA in Geography (2007), MA in Local Development (2008) and PhD by the University of Alicante (2013). He is currently Professor in Human Geography Dpt. of the University of Alicante. He has published around thirty scientific works related to local development, tourism and environmental research, although his recent research is directed towards the rural themes. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) and has participated in scientific events in countries such as Germany, Italy, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Canada.
