Professor Title of the Department of Human Geography of the University of Alicante, in which it began to give classes in 1997.

Previously it was master of Primary and Chair of Geography and History of Secondary. It is doctor in Geography and History.

Among others academic charges, went director of the Public School “Juan Sempere y Guarinos” of Elda, vicedirector of the IES “Fray Ignacio Barrachina” of Ibi and vicedecano of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UA, where commissioned of the degrees of Tourism and Geography and of the external practices. It is specialist of Geography of PAU in the UA from does several years.

At present it gives the asignaturas: Geography of the Population, in the Degree of Geography; Social Geography and of the Population, in the one of Humanities; Introduction to the Human Geography in the initial course of the degrees of History, Humanities and Geography; Dynamics of Population in the Máster of Local Development. From it does some years gives also the course “Ciudades de Película”in the UPUA.

It has given courses in the universities of Bari, L’Orientale of Naples, the UILM of Milano or Havana.

It has directed complementary courses on “The oral history”: a tool for the investigation of the local culture” “Dramatized Routes” an “Women in the Civil War” and other varied.

It is member of the University Institute of Tourist Investigations, of the Association of Spanish Geographets, of the Association of Historical Demography and of the AVIFOR.

His investigations centre basically in questions tied to the population, the work in sectors like the toy and the footwear, the tourism and the democratic memory of places of the Civil War.
