Full Professor, Department of Social Psychology & Communication, Universidad de Alicante. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, PhD in Sociology. Former Senior Advertising Producer for Publiespaña (Fininvest Group). Professor in the degree program in Advertising & Public Relations, in the area of advertising creativity, and Co-Coordinator of the master's program in Communication & Creative Industries. Author of the books Comunicación publicitaria de juguetes en televisión (2004), Marketing Infantil (2008), and numerous scientific papers. Principal Investigator for the Communication and Childhood research group and of the Communication and Specific Audiences Group. Founding partner of the Spanish Association of Communication Research (AE+IC), Vice-President of the International Association for Research on Childhood, Youth and Communication (Kids&Com), and founding partner of the Latin Society of Social Communication and of the Latin Platform of Communication Journals. Member of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA). Editor of Mediterranean Journal of Communication. Honorary Member of the Latin American Network of Researchers in Advertising (RELAIP). Founding member of the Observatory of Scientific Journals in Social Communications. Winner of the 14th Hermes Prize (2017) awarded by ATR-CV (ICMedia) for teaching and research in support of responsible communication. Internship in the Universitè du Quebec a Chicoutimi (Canada) and Glasgow Caledonian University (United Kingdom).

External expert for the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme to European Commission (EX2017D314546) during 2019.

Her main lines of research are Scientific Communication,  Advertising Creativity, and Communication targeted to Childhood.
