Currently, Julio Torres Soler is a Substitute Lecturer in the Department of Spanish Philology, General Linguistics, and Literary Theory at the University of Alicante. Between 2020 and 2024, he held a predoctoral research position in the same department, supported by a University Teaching Training Grant (FPU2019), funded by the Ministry of Universities. His predoctoral training concluded in December 2024 with the defense of his doctoral thesis, titled Semantic Evolution and Grammaticalization of the Verbs llevar and traer.
