She has an Honors Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Toronto (Canada). She also has a degree in English Philology and an International Doctorate in Education Research from the University of Alicante. She was a professor at the San Antonio de Murcia Catholic University, in the Education Department. She has been on research stays at the University of Applied Sciences of Salzburg, Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour. She has taught a variety of different subjects at the undergraduate and post-graduat levels and in addition has abundant complementary training in this field. She has taught classes and seminars at: Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences (Finland); Université de Friborg (Switzerland), University of Applied Sciences of Salzburg (Austria), Southampton Solent University (United Kingdom) and Katholieke Pabo Zwolle (Netherlands) among others. She has been main researcher on several research projects funded by the EU, related in part to the acquisition of languages ¿¿and intercultural competences (Project Organization Online, POOL2 Business, SKILL2E and MOOC2Move). Her research fields include language teaching and learning, ICT and interculturality. She is the author of numerous articles, as well as book chapters and monographs published by academic publishers.
