Research in neurobiology at several leading centres: the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas (undergraduate dissertation, 1 year), the Faculty of Medicine at UAM (PhD, 4 years), the Institute of Neurology at University College London (postdoctoral position, 7 years) and the Instituto de Neurociencias UMH-CSIC (Ramón y Cajal Programme, 6 years).

The fields of study during this period included brain metabolism, the regulation of hormonal signals in response to stress, the regulation of neurotransmission in the hippocampus, the physiology of autism and cerebral ischaemia. Techniques employed included nuclear magnetic resonance, genetics, molecular biology, electrophysiology and multiphoton imaging.

Since 2017, Master's in Health Psychology (ISEP, 2 years), faculty member in the Master's in Neuropsychology in Education (UNIR, 2 years) and teacher in Secondary Education, A-levels and International Baccalaureate.

Since 2018, research in learning and neuroscience applied to education and lecturer at the University of Alicante. Current projects combine neuroscience, psychology and education. They can be consulted at:
