University Lecturer in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Alicante. Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (1993) and PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Alicante (2002). Since 1994 she has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Alicante. She has held various management positions, from Subdirector (2000-2004) and Director (2004-2005) of the Department; then Subdirector of the Computer Science Degrees (2005-2009) and Secretary (2009-2013) of the Polytechnic School; and currently she is Director of the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) of the University of Alicante. During her period as Subdirector of Computer Science degrees, she coordinated the development of the study plans for the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, currently implemented at the University of Alicante.
Her work is framed in the fields of programming, artificial intelligence, engineering education and teacher training in ICT and its application in education.
She is a member of AENUI (Asociación de ENseñantes Universitarios de la Informática), AEPIA (Asociación Española para la Inteligencia Artificial) and collaborator in the GIRLS4STEM project.
