Ana Rosser Limiñana has a degree in Psychology (Philosophy and Educational Sciences-Psychology Section) from the University of Murcia and a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Alicante.  She has been teaching at the UA since 1999, until 2018 as an associate professor and later as a full time professor.

Until October 2008, when she joined the university full time, she worked at the Department of Social Welfare, occupying different positions of responsibility in the field of child protection and mental illness.

She is currently a full professor in the Department of Communication and Social Psychology at the University of Alicante, in subjects related to the area of knowledge of Social Psychology. She has been awarded 3 quinquenniums.

Her current research topics revolve mainly around child abuse and protection measures for children at risk, gender violence with special attention to vicarious violence, and disability. She has published her research in national and international journals and has participated in several European research projects.

She is director of the Research Group on Psychosocial Intervention with Families and Children (IPSIFAM) at the University of Alicante, whose research deals with the study of different aspects related to family and childhood. Related to this field, he coordinates the Network of Universities for Children and Adolescents at the UA and is a member of the Observatory of Children and Adolescents of the Sindic de Greuges of the Valencian Community.

She also directs the Chair "Aguas de Alicante de Inclusión Social" of the University of Alicante whose main objective is to create an inclusive campus for people at risk of social exclusion, in particular, the group of people with disabilities, attending to their training and inclusion, as well as promoting training, research and knowledge transfer in this area. In recent years, the Chair has also undertaken a digital transformation project for entities of social interest.
