PhD  in Law by the University of Alicante. He has been a University Associated Professor at that University since 2002. His research activity has been developed in the field of Labor Law and Social Security. He has held positions as Visiting Professor in prestigious Universities of the United States of America such as the Center of Excellence of the European Union, the University of Illinois (2015-2016), and the Labor Relations Institute of Cornell University ( 2009-2010).
In addition, he is the author of several books on Spanish and International law such as The Process of Challenging Collective Agreements, The Complementary Hours in the Part-time Work Contract and in co-authorship, as a result of a Project of the Ministry of Economy, a book on Moral Harassment , Sexual and by reason of sex in the Work: an integral treatment.
He has published in specialized magazines, among other sections of the social branch of Law, on the minimum supplements of Social Security pensions, social protection for illegal foreign workers, the legal regime of collective dismissal, temporary employment in the Public Administrations or the remuneration of the managerial staff at the service of the financial entities.
He has been a Principal Investigator in several Research Projects and has been a collaborator in other Projects funded by the National Institute of Public Administration and the Menéndez Pelayo International University. Finally, he is the Director of the Research Group on Legal Analysis of Labor Relations at the University of Alicante since 2011, a member of the College of Arbitrators of Trade Union Elections (2015-2019); State Attorney (2018-2019) and Spanish Suprem Court´s Attorney (2019-2021).
