PhD in Law from the University of Alicante. He is Professor of University School in that University since 2001. His research activity has been developed in the field of Labor Law and Social Security.
He has held positions as Visiting Professor at Universities, of maximum prestige in the United States, such as the Center of Excellence of the European Union at the University of Illinois (2015-2016) and the Institute of Labor Relations at Cornell University (2009-2010).
In addition, he is the author of several monographs, including “El ingreso mínimo vital en concurrencia con otras rentas”, “La cláusula laboral en los acuerdos de libre comercio”, “Las horas complementarias en el contrato de trabajo a tiempo parcial” and “El proceso de impugnación de convenios colectivos”.
He has published in specialized journals, among other sections of the social branch of law, on the minimum supplements to Social Security pensions, the judicial control of artificial intelligence in the field of labor relations, the social protection of foreign workers in an irregular situation, the legal regime of collective dismissal, temporary employment in the Public Administration or the remuneration of management personnel in the service of financial institutions.
He has been Principal Investigator in several Research Projects and has been a collaborator in other Projects funded by the National Institute of Public Administration and the Menéndez Pelayo International University and Director of the Research Group Legal Analysis of Labor Relations of the University of Alicante (2011-2019).
Finally, Alternate Judge of the Social Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community during the judicial years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. Likewise, he is a member of the College of Arbitrators of Union Elections (2015-); State Attorney before the social jurisdictional order (2018-2019) and Lawyer of the Supreme Courtof Spain (2019-2021).
