Associate Professor at the Department of Contemporary Humanities of the University of Alicante.  Holder of an Undergraduate Degree in History, major in Prehistory, Ancient History and Archeology (2001, UA); Undergraduate Degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology (2006, Miguel Hernández University).  She has completed two postgraduate courses in Archivistry (2007, UNED) and Documentation (2012, Universitat Jaume I). Her final year project was funded by Juan Gil-Albert Culture Institute (2011). She holds a PhD in History (2016, UA). Her thesis Lectura arqueológica de los espacios públicos y privados en la arquitectura residencial de la huerta alicantina en el siglo XIX was awarded the cum laude distinction and the Special Award.

As a professional, she has been working in the field of documentation for over 10 years, during which she has been employed by different archives, including the Provincial Archive of Orihuela and the Provincial Historical Archive of Alicante. She currently works at the Municipal Archive of Mutxamel (Alicante). She has participated in numerous archaeological excavations in the city of Alicante (El Portón and C / Virgen de Belén) and in the province (Picola-Pol. Urb. Salinas in Santa Pola), El Monastil, PP Torreta-Río and Finca Norte de Cámara in Elda), as well as in the Archaeological Park of Segóbriga, Cuenca.

Her multi-disciplinary training, combined with her wide professional experience, is what brought her to university teaching: she is currently an associate lecturer at Miguel Hernández University and at the University of Alicante, teaching in the areas of History of Science and Cultural Heritage and Tourism Anthropology, respectively.

She is still connected to the UMH as a researcher within GADEA group (Research Groups of Excellence at the Region of Valencia) and as an honorary lecturer at the Department of Public Health, History of Science and Gynaecology.
