He is a professor in the Department of Computer Languages and Systems at the University of Alicante.

He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences and has previously held various leadership positions at the University, including Secretary of the Institute of Educational Sciences, Director of the Secretariat for Teaching Support, Director of the Secretariat for New Technologies, and Deputy Director for Quality and Innovation at the Higher Polytechnic School of Alicante.

Additionally, he was the Content Director of Recursos en la Red, a technology company within the Editorial Prensa Ibérica group, as well as the Content and e-Learning Director at Universia, a portal sponsored by Banco Santander that brings together more than 1,290 Ibero-American universities.

He was a member of the Institute of International Economics, where he led the UNIMOOC project for entrepreneur training.

He is a founding partner of the Spin-Off Lucentia Lab S.L., which has had clients such as Google Spain, Google U.K., SUMA, and INDRA, among others.

Likewise, he has served as an external consultant for Google Spain on the ACTIVATE project (since 2013), aimed at training young people in digital skills.

He is also a founding partner of the "Alicantec" initiative (http://www.alicantec.com), which promotes the development of the digital economy in the province of Alicante.

From December 2017 to July 2019, he was the Director General of Information and Communication Technologies at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Model of the Generalitat Valenciana.

From July 2019 to May 2021, he served as the Director General for the Advancement of the Digital Society at the Ministry of Innovation, Science, Universities, and Digital Society of the Generalitat Valenciana.

From May 2021 to February 2022, he was the Territorial Director in Valencia for the same ministry.

He is currently back in his position at the University as a Tenured Professor.
