I have a degree in Mathematics from the University of Alicante, with a Diploma of Advanced Studies and a PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Granada. I have been a high school mathematics teacher at an high school in Granada, an assistant professor at the University of Valencia and a Doctor Assistant professor and Contracted Doctor at the University of Alicante, where I currently practice. I have taught classes in the Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education, in the Master's Degree in Secondary Education Mathematics Teachers and in the Master's Degree in Research in Specific Didactics. I have tutored End of Degree Projects, End of Master's Degree, and directed PhD Thesis. My lines of research are focused on the training of teachers and the affects related to the mathematics teaching and learning, the results of which have been published in various scientific journals, as book chapters, and have been disclosed in the media in different countries. I have been part of various research projects -as a collaborator or principal investigator- both nationally and internationally and I have participated in a variety of scientific meetings where the findings of my research have been presented.
