Isidro M. Pastor Beviá got the BSc degree in Chemistry BSc (1996) and the MSc Chemistry degree (1997) from the University of Alicante. His doctoral thesis, under the supervision of Professor Miguel Yus, was developed at the University of Alicante, getting his doctorate in 2000. After a postdoctoral stay (2000-2002) with Professor Hans Adolfsson at the Arrhenius Laboratory of Stockholm University (Sweden) researching in the field of asymmetric catalysis, he returned to the University of Alicante. Since then, he has developed his teaching and research activities as Teaching Assistant (2003), Assistant Professor (2004), Lecturer (2007), Associate Professor (non-civil servant, 2008), Associate Professor (civil servant, 2010) and Professor (civil servant, 2021). His research is carried out in the "Alternative Methodologies In Chemistry" research group, of which he is director, and is developed in the fields of sustainable chemistry, organometallic chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, material chemistry such as metal-organic structures and catalysis. He belongs to the editorial board of the international journal "Molecules" ("Organometallic Chemistry" Section) and is a member of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry and the Swedish Chemical Society.
