Tomás Ordoñez is an associate lecturer in the Department of Developmental and Didactic Psychology at the University of Alicante, an activity he combines with his work at the Student Support Centre of this university. He received his PhD in Psychology with distinction, from the University of Valencia in 2000. For the last 25 years, his research and professional activity has focused on projects and activities dedicated to the care, counselling and inclusion of students in higher education. Between 2008 and 2020 he has been a member of the psychological counselling area of the association FEDORA (European Forum for Student Guidance) and of the Psyche Board committee of the EAIE (European Association for International Education). He is a founding member of the Spanish Association of University Psychological and Psychopedagogical Services, created in 2009. Currently he is actively involved in the Network of Support Services for People with Disabilities in the University and in the UNIDISVAL Network of the Valencian Community.
