Second-Cycle Undergraduate Degree in Economics (Special Award) and Postgraduate Specialisation Course in International Cooperation for Development (overall grade of Excellent) from the University of Alicante (UA). Postgraduate Teacher Training Certificate (CAP) from the UA Education Science Institute (ICE). He has completed the teaching and research periods of the PhD Programme in Current and Historical Problems of Economics, delivered by the UA Department of Applied Economic Analysis.

He has received specialised training on conflicts such as those in Western Sahara and Palestine, alternative social movements, solidarity and international cooperation, transformative education, management of cooperation projects, forgotten conflicts and peacebuilding, human rights, geopolitics, alternative social and solidarity economy, feminisms and ecofeminism, rural development and the environment, food sovereignty and local development.

Skilled technician and associate lecturer in the Department of Applied Economic Analysis of the UA Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences. Secretary of the academic committees of the Joint Master’s Degree in Cooperation for Development (MCAD) and the Master’s Degree in Applied Economics, both offered by the University of Alicante. Head of the Technical Secretary’s Office and Work Placements Coordinator of the Joint Master’s Degree in Cooperation for Development (specialisation in Environmental Sustainability) at the UA.

His university teaching focuses on theories of development, basic aspects of fieldwork and specific tools and areas of international cooperation, on undergraduate, postgraduate and Master’s degrees (UA). Speaker at multiple forums on the problems of Western Sahara, where he has been an aid worker for more than 15 years.

Secretary and academic coordinator of the UA Postgraduate Specialisation Course in International Cooperation for Development – as well as coordinator and supervisor of its Practicum course – from 2008 to 2011. At the UA, head of cooperation and humanitarian aid projects with the Sahrawi people, from 2012 to 2021 (project coordination and management).

Extensive experience in organising and coordinating training activities (conferences, courses, seminars) linked to solidarity, cooperation and other related topics (social movements, forgotten conflicts and peacebuilding, Western Sahara and Palestine, geopolitics, social and solidarity economy, etc.); management and technical support for cooperation and humanitarian aid projects; career guidance and job matching; advice on local development and preparation of studies and reports on the labour market.

Ample experience, both as a professional and as an activist, in alternative social movements and charity, environmental, critical economy and ecosocial transition organisations. Active participation in networks and alliances of solidarity and human rights organisations.
