Pilar Montero is Commercial Law Professor at the University of Alicante qualified in the area of Intellectual Property (trade marks, geographical indications, designs, competition law and digitalisation).

Pilar Montero is Director of the Master on Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation of the University of Alicante, Magister Lvcentinvs.
She participate as research expert in several Spanish, French and European competitive projects financed by public institutions. She is external expert for different institutions in the field of Intellectual Property as the European Parliament, the EUIPO, WIPO and the Spanish Patent and Trade Marks Office (OEPM). Pilar Montero give lectures in the field of Commercial Law, particularly Intellectual Property. She is a standing contributor in several Scientifics journals in Spain, and she is the responsible of the monthly publication reviewing case law in the Intellectual Property Section of the Journal edited by La Ley Wolters Kluwer (in the field of Trade marks, Designs and Geographical Indications).
She is also member of the editorial board of several Scientifics Journals in the field of Commercial Law, and particulary on Intellectual Property and Competition Law.
