Associate lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Services of the University of Alicante.
First-Cycle Undergraduate Degree in Social Work (2003) and Second-Cycle Undergraduate Degree in Social Work (2013). She has a Master’s Degree in Social Intervention in Knowledge Societies (2023) and completed the Specialisation Course in Mediation (2004) and the Advanced University Course for Directors of Social Services Centres (2013). She is currently studying a PhD at the University of Alicante, in the Communication, Behaviour and Society research line.
As a lecturer, she has taught the following courses as part of the Undergraduate Degree in Social Work: Introduction to Professional Skills, Professional Skills I, Professional Skills II, Models and Methods of Social Work I, Models and Methods of Social Work II and Work Placement (I, II and III). Before joining the teaching staff at the University of Alicante, she collaborated with this institution as a teacher on the First-Cycle Undergraduate Degree in Social Work and the Specialisation Course in Social Intervention in Conflicts.
Her research interests focus on social work and social services, especially disability and the third sector. More recently, her interests have extended to situations of loneliness.
In the field of university management, she served as work placement coordinator for the Undergraduate Degree in Social Work (Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences).
Since 2005, she has been a social worker at the Alicante Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association (AEBHA), with direct care functions, also serving as director of the entity and designing and evaluating social projects.
