Bachelor's degree in Geography and History (specialising in Geography). Professor of Human Geography at the University of Alicante (UA). Doctorate in Geography with research linked to Local Development and Economic Geography. Vice-President of the Scientific Council of the Ibero-American Environment Network (REIMA). Member of the Academic Scientific Council of the MCA BUSINESS AND POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL based in Florida (USA). Outstanding teacher in the DOCENTIA-UA programme for the last four academic years. He is also former president of the Local Development Working Group of the Association of Spanish Geographers (2021-2025) and former vice-dean of Students and Business at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (2007-2010). Former Vice-Dean of Tourism and Geography at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (2010-2011). Former Academic Director of the University Extension at the Villena University Campus (2012 to February 2017). Facilitator of the Villena Economic and Social Forum (2013-2015) alongside Professor Vicente Zapata. Member of GATER, the Rural Territory Analysis Group (advisory body) made up of the five public universities of Valencia and the Regional Ministry of Agriculture. Facilitator of the Villena Economic and Social Forum alongside Professor Vicente Zapata from the University of La Laguna. Member of the Jose María Soler Foundation. President of the Organising Committees of National and International Conferences on Local Development, Urban Geography and Sustainable Tourism over the last 15 years.
