A graduate in Catalan Philology, he also earned a PhD from the University of Alicante with a thesis on Enric Valor, for which he received a PhD Special Award and an international doctoral certification. He has been a secondary school teacher since 2004 and an associate lecturer at the UA since 2018. Winner of several prizes awarded by the Ministry of Education for good educational practice and of the Joan Coromines Lexicography Award. He has published articles in national and international journals and given lectures at leading universities, such as the University of California, Santa Barbara in the US and the University of Bamberg in Germany.
