I hold a degree in Biology from the University of Alicante (2004-2010). At present, I am a Asociate Professor working in a project on the cell biology of Magnapothe oryzae during apressorium development. During my PhD I studied the antifungal mode of action of chitosan on filamentous fungi and yeast trying to find new drug target. I studied using transcriptocs and molecular aproaches the antifungal activity of this polymer on fungi.
