She received a doctorate from the University of Alicante in 2016. That same year, she obtained an assistant professor contract in the university's nursing department. Currently, she is accredited as a University Professor.

Her teaching experience has been developed in the Faculty of Health Sciences. She is responsible for and teaches the subjects "Community Nursing, Mental Health, Psychiatry and Ethics" and "Practicum XI: Nursing Care in Mental Health and Community Intervention" of the Nursing Degree and "Communication Skills and Emergency Help Relationship" of the Master's Degree in Emergencies and Disasters.

Its research activity is carried out mainly in the thematic areas of 1) health and well-being, 2) mental health and psychosocial well-being, 3) clinical practice and quality of care, and 4) Teaching innovation at undergraduate and graduate levels (interdisciplinary simulation for the acquisition of non-medical skills). techniques in health professionals). She is the author of more than forty scientific articles, 75% of which are published in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports. She is a member of the research groups Person-centred Care and Health Outcomes Innovation (PCC-HOI) and Group 23 of Care Innovation of the Alicante Health and Biomedical Research Institute (ISABIAL).

Since December 2023, she has held the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences position. Previously, she was the Academic Coordinator of students and practices of the nursing degree (2021-2023) and the Academic Coordinator of quality, students and practices of the nursing degree (2019-2021).
