Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the University of Alicante. She has been Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Coordinator of the Degree in History of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Alicante. She has participated and directed several research projects focused on diverse fields of study of the Spanish Modern History. She is a member of the AHC (Asociación de Historia Contemporánea / Association of Contemporary History) and the AEIHM (Asociación Española de Investigación de Historia de las Mujeres / Spanish Association for Research on the History of Women). She has been an Expert of the Technical Committee on History for the evaluation of the Spanish National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2012-2015 (MINECO) and is currently a member of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA). Arts and Humanities Commission for the evaluation of Higher Education-Master and Doctorate.
