Christian Fortanet van Assendelft de Coningh finished his international PhD –digital design– at the University of Alicante with the advice of two experts from foreign centers: the Poynter Institute for Media Studies and the University of Columbia. He is currently a lecturer at the Department of Communication and Social Psychology at the University of Alicante. His career has always been linked to design since he was awarded a scholarship as a student by the Poynter Institute of Florida, USA, for a specialized training in journalistic design. He has advised international media companies such as The Wall Street Journal, Liberation, The Observer, Paris Match, Elle Magazine, Miami Herald, and others. He specializes in eyetracking testing and his field of research covers interface design, transplatform design, digital communication and user experience.
