Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology, with a Master's (2007) and a Ph.D. (2011) in Sciences from the Institute of Ecology, A.C. (Xalapa, Mexico). My academic and professional career is backed by scholarships awarded by CONACYT, including a postdoctoral fellowship at the I.U.I. CIBIO of the University of Alicante (Spain) in 2012, focused on strengthening research groups. I was a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) Level I of CONACYT (2017-2019), and in 2023, I obtained my first six-year research evaluation recognized by ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation) in Spain. My research focuses on dung beetles, exploring their behavior, physiology, chemical ecology, and ecotoxicology. I have worked on multidisciplinary projects assessing the impact of veterinary products on the biodiversity of these beetles, as well as developing ecological alternatives for parasite control in livestock. Since 2012, I have collaborated with the University of Alicante as a Research Doctor and Senior Collaborator, participating in international projects and publishing in high-impact scientific journals such as PLOS One, Scientific Reports, and Ecological Entomology.I am a member of the "escarab" group, dedicated to the conservation and restoration of biodiversity in agro-silvopastoral systems, and I have actively participated in international conferences and scientific meetings.
