1968, Italy. Begins his academic career with classical studies and a degree in Law (thesis in Roman Law on the humanior interpretatio of the praetor in the Hadrianic era).

Starting from his extensive practice in artistic creation (music and the audiovisual field), he completes a post-graduate training itinerary in multimedia editing —which includes a Leonardo da Vinci European grant; "MMLAB Grant" - Multimedia Laboratory of the University of Alicante; a research stay in Communication Sciences at the Università La Sapienza of Rome—. After an initial period of professional practice in that area (Grupo DRAC, Valencia, and, as a freelancer, in the Culture Secretariat and the University Museum of the U.A.), he dedicates himself to TEACHING at this University (2001).

He completes his D.E.A. studies (2003) —areas of Communication and Sociology— with a first monograph on the modes of book media editing, combining research training with teaching.

His RESEARCH path adds study and parallel training in Psychoanalysis within the framework of bodies affiliated with the I.P.A. - International Psychoanalytical Association (2001-2010) and the Instituto del Campo Freudiano (Lacanian orientation: 2013-2018). From this experience, he has collaborated in university outreach activities, such as the permanent series Cine, psicoanálisis y cultura (Cinema, psychoanalysis and culture), and has carried out knowledge transfer projects, such as the I Jornadas de Cine y Psicoanálisis (1st Conference on Cinema and Psychoanalysis) and the publication of the corresponding academic work.

To close his doctoral stage, he rescues the research vein consolidated in his undergraduate thesis on the concept of Law and subjectivity to delve into the study of the 'subject of discourse' in the mafia environment. After a research stay (2016) at the Osservatorio sulla Criminalità Organizzata of the University of Milan and in the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Palermo (Sicily), he defends his doctoral thesis (2021), in which he applies psychoanalytic theory to the clinical sequence of the television series The Sopranos, work that resulted in his third monograph.

He integrates his teaching activity with specific technical-scientific consulting in applied psychoanalysis.
