Since its creation, the University of Alicante’s SOC-INNOVA research group has stood out for its specialised work in the field of social innovation: analysing and diagnosing innovation processes in the private sector, the third sector and
public administration, or studying innovation management in organisations and designing effective strategies to promote it. The research team’s rigorous approach is reflected in the technical advice it provides and in its planning of
social innovation projects, guaranteeing viability and success based on evidence. The group has investigated key players, developed innovative methodologies and advised on the implementation of people-centred solutions, driving innovative approaches in various sectors and generating significant results.
The SOC-INNOVA research group has solid infrastructure, technical and human resources to carry out its work and offer its services. Its laboratories have advanced technology and equipment to obtain deep insights into social innovation processes. In addition, it also has access to academic databases and, through a large virtual library, the most up-to-date information in the field.
