Manuel Martínez García (hereinafter MMG) is Full Professor of Microbiology at the University of Alicante (Catedrático de Universidad). Since his first paper published in 2007, MMG has published over 75 peer-review papers in International Journals listed in the Journal Citation Index in addition to other contributions to book chapters. He has over 5,000 citations and 89% of his publications have been in Journals in Q1, and 40% of papers in journals that rank in the top 10 ranking in Microbiology. MMG has published in prestigious journals such as Nature Communications, Science, PNAS, Nature Biotechnology, and ISME Journal.
