Academic background:

Second-Cycle Undergraduate Degree in Physical Education (University of Valencia), MSC in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Administration (Western Illinois University) and PhD (University of Alicante). Certified Personal Trainer (American Council on Exercise).

Professional experience:

Fitness coach and personal trainer at the Clínica Mediterránea de Neurociencias (3 years), where he worked with people with severe mental disorders and in cardiovascular rehabilitation, physical rehabilitation, sports medicine, etc.

Teaching experience:

Fifteen years’ experience at the University of Alicante in the field of Physical Education and Sports Science. His teaching activity focuses on physical education and health for special populations. He has been an EMI lecturer at universities abroad, in the United States, Italy or the Czech Republic, and has directed five PhD theses.
