José Miguel Santacreu Soler is Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Alicante, Valencian Courts Award for Parliamentary Research (2004), 2013-14 Teaching Excellence Award granted by the Social Council of the University of Alicante on 05/08/2015, Diploma for Teaching Excellence 2018-19, 219-20 and 2021-22 from the first, second and fourth edition of the DOCENTIA program for the evaluation of teaching activity at the University of Alicante, director of the Interuniversity Chair of Democratic Memory of the Valencian Community in 2017, co-director in 2018 and 2019, director of the Contemporary Spain research group of the University of Alicante between 2012 and 2022, and researcher of the Jean Monnet Chair group of History and Institutions of Community Europe since 2022. Guest professor teaching mobility in the Erasmus program at the Université Aix-Marseille, Universidade Fernando Pessoa de Porto and Universiteit Antwerpen. Visiting professor teaching in the Master of International Relations of the International University of Andalucía. He is a member of the International Center for the Conservation of Patrimoni (Spain); of the Technical Committee of Experts of the Generalitat Valenciana for the assessment of the withdrawal of vestiges related to the Civil War and the dictatorship of the Valencian Community and of the supposits d'excepcionalitat; i member of the committee of experts at the Universitat d'Alacant - Projecte Heritage in Motion - Innovative methodologies for Adult Education in Cultural Heritage & Active Aging the support of the European Commission. Between 1998 and 2006 he was a specialist in Historical Text Analysis in the PAU-LOGSE and, between 2006 and 2008, in History in the same tests and speaker of the History subject in the PAU-M25 until 2023. It has the positive assessment of the maximum allowed five-year teaching period (6) and six-year research period(6) in addition to the experimental six-year transfer of research by the CNEAI - Aneca.
